There’s nothing to fear, especially if you’re on a mission to reclaim your lover’s soul from the likes of Lucifer while wielding the scythe of Death himself. So walk with me through the nine vicious circles of hell. Fear nothing, as you have now become death. You have become he who walks amongst the shadows. You are Dante. And your game is set to rival one of gaming’s heavy-hitters if it plays its cards right.

When you think of the name BioWare, many fantastic gaming experiences come to mind: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and most recently, Mass Effect. Soon to be added to that list is BioWare’s newest venture, Dragon Age: Origins. We got a chance at obtaining some inside information on the ambitious project that we’re bringing you, the lucky reader.
Preview: Bayonetta
Hideki Kamiya is a devious one. First he sends gamers into a frenzy with the release of one of the most stylish action/hack-and-slash franchises to date in Devil May Cry, and then he decides to exploit one of the most obvious weaknesses of the human condition: the sex drive. If he’s already sold the cool kids on stylish action via the original Devil May Cry, then this time he’s targeting anyone who appreciates the female form. The impending release of Bayonetta has gotten us all hot and bothered. Here’s a quick look at what should be one of this winter’s sexiest adventures.
Preview: Final Fantasy: Dissidia
Final Fantasy is always changing. Though it goes through many different phases (some I didn’t enjoy), my loyalty to the series is unwavering. The franchise has branched out into many different genres over the years, covering RPGs, MMOs, card battlers, tower defense, virtual pet titles, and even cooperative multiplayer. A fighter featuring a full cast of beloved characters found throughout the now fourteen Final Fantasy standalone titles only seemed natural at this point in time. Ehrgeiz just wasn’t enough, and it featured more than Final Fantasy characters, having only the populars show up as cameos. The fans wanted something more, and Square Enix has answered the call with the upcoming purely Final Fantasy fighter, Final Fantasy: Dissidia. I dove into the demo available via PSN and lived to tell the tale.
